Caleb Warnock has taught more than 30 creative writing
classes, both privately and for Utah Valley State College and the
University of Utah. He published fiction, nonfiction and poetry in

The Writer
magazine, Utah Outdoors, Highlights For Children,
Dialogue,
and the Friend. He has been a judge for several
statewide writing contests. His first novel manuscript, titled
Night
Kite Flying
, is a winner of the Utah Arts Council Young Adult
Fiction prize. His second novel manuscript,
The Ugliest
Classroom in School
, was a League of Utah Writers pick for best
children's novel. Caleb is also winner of the $1,500 David O.
McKay writing prize for personal essay. He has worked as a full-
time journalist for the
Daily Herald, a central Utah newspaper,
and has won regional and national awards for his journalism.
Caleb has a bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young
University and a master's from Utah State University. He
specializes in online teaching.

Ginger Churchill began taking Writing in Depth classes in 2003
and has since sold her first picture book to Tanglewood Press.

Ginger is a Utah Arts Council contest winner, and a winner in the
League of Utah Writers contest, and has published and sold
several magazine articles. She is a regular speaker at schools and
writer's conferences. We at Writing In Depth think she's so
