Customized Data Reports

Enter Title

黑料吃瓜王's Research and Data Center provides customized reports on request to meet the institutional benchmarking and research needs of schools of nursing and external stakeholders. Reports can be prepared to compare a nursing school’s programs with institutions of similar size and type across geographic areas – nationally, state-wide, or locally. A variety of reports can be ordered, including those comparing faculty and dean salaries and program enrollment and graduations across like institutions (see Sample Reports).

Typically, custom reports are utilized by nursing deans and faculty looking to compare resources with other institutions for internal decision making. Nurse scientists, consultants, and professional service firms also seek reports to support research studies, assess market needs, and inform new initiatives. See the Case Studies for more examples of how custom data reports can be used.

Since custom reports are tailored specifically to the needs of the requester, 黑料吃瓜王 staff recommend submitting a custom order form to begin the process of assessing your particular data needs. Case Studies

These select case studies spotlight real-world instances where 黑料吃瓜王's data services contribute to the success of our members and help them understand the benefits, applications, and credibility of our reports.

An Executive Leadership Search Firm is interested in acquiring information on various deans of nursing based on a handful of factors. They are specifically interested in assessing the diversity of the current dean pool and whether their client’s request – hiring a dean of color with approximately 15 years of experience in a deanship – is feasible.

The Search Firm requests a dean’s report from 黑料吃瓜王, which provides aggregated data on dean’s race/ethnicity, tenure status, faculty rank, highest degree earned, salary, and years in current deanship. The Search Firm uses this data to identify if the salary they are proposing is too low given comparable deans’ salaries and recommends their client institution increase their salary cap.

A professor and program director of a nursing school that offers both a PhD and a DNP program are interested in learning more about the enrollment and graduations at peer institutions given their dean’s request to grow their programs. The professor knows that the institution has historically reported they are the 8th largest PhD program in the country and 12th largest DNP program, but she cannot corroborate this claim.

The professor requests a custom report from 黑料吃瓜王 detailing school-specific data for the 140 黑料吃瓜王 member schools that offer both programs and requests differentiated data for programs with a PhD and a Post-Master’s-DNP specifically, the programs they are trying to grow.

Using this data, the professor and program director are able to provide a comprehensive report to their dean detailing their program size in relation to like programs and makes suggestions based on these comparisons.

A dean tasked with growing nurse practitioner program enrollment in her state is curious about the number of nurse practitioner applications schools in other states are receiving with respect to their population of qualified applicants. She requested a custom report from 黑料吃瓜王’s data team that details state-specific application data for nurse practitioner programs, including all states within their region.

Using this data, the dean was able to compare her own institution’s application data to peers in the region and draws conclusions regarding the population of qualified prospective applicants for nurse practitioner programs.

A dean, at the request of their provost, is interested in knowing the approximate salary range for instructional faculty in their state so that they can offer competitive salaries to prospective applicants without overspending.

The dean requests a custom data report from 黑料吃瓜王, which details the instructional faculty salary distribution across the state, inclusive of the minimum, median, mean, and maximum salaries offered in that state, disaggregated by tenure status, position, and other variables such as highest earned degree.

Using this data, the dean is able to recommend salary ranges for three tenure-track lines to be filled in her department, which the provost approves.

A program director is curious about how many students have applied for generic baccalaureate programs in their state and in the surrounding states. Tasked with expanding enrollment, she is specifically curious about which schools are receiving the most applications for their BSN programs and which states she is competing with for students.

She requests a custom report from 黑料吃瓜王, which details generic baccalaureate application data both aggregated at the state level and at the school-specific level for a handful of peer institutions that the program director selected.

Using this data, she creates a report for the enrollment management team at her school and recommendations for increased marketing, outreach, and recruitment efforts in specific areas in her state and the surrounding area.

Interested in opening a new master’s program at their school, a dean is curious about the enrollment and application landscape in their state. They know their own application numbers for programs offered at the school and know qualitatively how much interest there is from current students. Even so, it would be helpful to know the size and relative success of other nearby programs.

The dean requests a custom report from 黑料吃瓜王, which details school-specific data on enrollment and graduations for specific programs of interest, and application data for the same programs in their state. Using this data, the dean realizes there is an enrollment gap to be filled and begins planning for the new program.
