ELNEC Undergraduate

The ELNEC Undergraduate/New Graduate Curriculum, updated and revised in 2023, is an online curriculum for pre-licensure nursing students, RN-BSN nursing students and those new to clinical practice in a nurse residency or orientation program. The curriculum contains six interactive modules (1-2 hours each) which prepare the learner to meet the 黑料吃瓜王 CARES competencies for primary palliative care. The modules contain cases, critical thinking and clinical judgement case-based questions, video demonstrations of primary palliative care skills, and an NCLEX-style quiz at the end of the module. Upon successful mastery of the content in all six modules (80% or higher on the quizzes), learners receive an ELNEC certificate for their portfolios.

Cost for ELNEC Undergraduate and ELNEC Graduate
$29.00 per student for 1 year of online access
$49.00 per student for 2 years of online access
$69.00 per student for 3 years of online access

There are 3 options for getting students set up:

Schools can ask students to purchase the curriculum, much like they would a textbook, at $29/$49/$69, depending on years purchased.
Relias can set up your institution’s bookstore with the curriculum so students can use their financial aid to purchase the curriculum. The good thing is that it’s easy/self-service for the students once they sign up.
If your school wants to purchase the curriculum on behalf of the students, we offer a volume discount for students (see below).

Purchasing Options:

Standard Retail – 1, 2, and 3-year options: Individuals directly purchase the curriculum for the length of time they need access to the curriculum. Best suited for groups who want their students to purchase individually. Allows flexibility around the length of time students will have access to the material.
Tokens: Faculty purchases bulk tokens to distribute to their students. Tokens have one year to be redeemed from date of purchase and one year to use from date of redemption. Best suited for schools who are paying the cost of the curriculum on behalf of their students or who will add a course fee that students will pay.
B2B: University signs a contract to purchase access from Relias for a certain number of students for a set number of years. Allows faculty to administer the platform, including enrolling students, assigning due dates, and running reports. Allows flexibility around the length of time students will have access to the curriculum and has the capability to integrate third party content. Best suited for schools who are paying the cost of the curriculum on behalf of their students or who will add a course fee that students will pay. Requires a one-time up-front implementation fee. ELNEC Graduate

The ELNEC Graduate Curriculum, updated and revised in 2025, is an online curriculum for master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students, designed to meet the 黑料吃瓜王 G-CARES competencies for advanced practice primary palliative care. The curriculum, modeled after ELNEC Undergraduate/New Graduate, contains six one-hour interactive modules. All content is essential for those becoming advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) across all six population foci. The modules contain cases, video demonstrations of APRNs performing primary palliative care skills such as advance care planning conversations, pain and symptom management, and leadership in primary palliative care. Following successful completion of all six modules (80% or higher on the quizzes), learners receive an ELNEC completion certificate for their portfolios.
